As you can see, all the airport - metro transfer stations and train station to the Kolomna on the brown round line at the middle. This is the only line we need to use not the others.

At the centre of the metro web, there is the famous Red Square. You can adventure the change coloured lines to visit touristical sites. Exiting by Arbatskaya Station you can see the bohemian Arbatskaya Street and walk to the the Red Square in 15-20 minutes. Than get in any Metro station and find the brown line again.

 

When you get in the Metro, you can change lines, stations and travel everywhere with one ticket until you exit to the surface.

 

The distance between stations is 3-4 minutes. Every line there are two trains which goes forwards and backwards. If you pass your station accidently, simply get off the train, walk to the other line and go one station back.

 

You need to exit from Metro at the transfer point and take the train station to the Airports or Kolomna. The stations are very close to the Metro, in 3-5 minutes walking distance. Trains to the airports are called Aeroexpress [Aэроэкспресс].

 

Only Cyrillic alphabet is used in Moscow Metro and it is not hard to learn it. It is not mandatory although, you will need to recognise only 2 or 3 station names.

 

 

Moscow Metro is world famous "state of art" construction. Every station have different theme and design.
